Editorial policy
Our standards for accuracy, sourcing, corrections, AI tools and images on LaserEngravers.
These are the standards every article on LaserEngravers follows.
Disclosure
When we have a commercial relationship that could matter to readers, we say so on the page.
Accuracy and sources
- Specifications come from the maker's own documents and link to them.
- Claims about real-world performance cite where they come from: measurements, independent reviews or owner reports.
- We separate facts from opinion: "the maker rates the battery for 6 hours" is a fact; "it suits city balconies" is our judgment, and we explain it.
- Medical, electrical and chemical safety questions are pointed to qualified sources and the maker's instructions.
Owner quotes
We quote owners briefly, exactly as written, with credit and a link to the original post. We use longer quotes or photos only with the owner's permission, and we never copy reviews from retailer websites.
Use of AI tools
We may use AI tools to help outline, draft or edit text. A person checks every fact, number and recommendation against the sources before anything is published, and is responsible for the result. Illustrations made with AI are always labeled "AI illustration" and are never presented as photos of a real product in use.
Images
We use manufacturer press images, affiliate-network creatives, our own diagrams and charts, public-domain images, owner photos used with permission, and labeled AI illustrations. Each image is credited where required.
Updates and corrections
We update articles when products, prices or advice change, and show the date of the last real update. Confirmed errors are corrected promptly; significant corrections are noted in the article. To report an error, contact us.
